Herbal Consultations

In an herbal consultation, our role is to help you understand what your body is communicating and how to invite it back into balance. Through thoughtful conversation and a simple questionnaire, we look at the whole picture of your life—your nourishment, environment, daily rhythms, mindset, and emotions—because each plays a part in your wellbeing.

Rather than covering up symptoms, we listen to the story your body is telling and use that wisdom as a guide toward deeper insight and practical, sustainable shifts—what we like to call live-in solutions.

Please note: An herbalists is not a medical doctor or licensed healthcare provider. Their work is not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any disease. The purpose is to offer guidance and support as you explore your own unique path to healing.

What can you expect at your first Herbal Consultation?
While consultations will vary based on your herbalist, most visits begin with an in-depth questionnaire of your past and current health history, your dietary and lifestyle practices, and other factors related to your health. This is followed by an 60-90 minute appointment where together with the herbalist, you’ll discuss specific needs and the whole person; body, mind, spirit, and environment. From there, you’ll receive a wellness plan that can include any of the following: daily lifestyle habits, nutrition (from whole foods, herbs, or supplements), products to consider, protocols, books to read, etc.

Cost:
A comprehensive one-hour appointment is $150

Kylie Prouty

Kylie is an herbalist, wellness educator, wild seeker, homebirth and intuitive momma, nature enthusiast, and student of the earth. I’m passionate about weaving nourishing, nutrient-dense foods, herbal medicine, and seasonal rhythms into daily life. My journey began in 2012, when I was pregnant with my first daughter and realized that everything I put in and on my body would affect her growing body. That moment awakened something in me—and I haven’t stopped learning since.

I completed my formal herbal education through SW Herb in Mesa, AZ, where I took every class available and apprenticed under the beloved Kathy and Madalyn. Working in the shop gave me hands-on experience helping others find plant-based remedies for real-life issues. During that time, I also dove deep into ancestral food practices, circadian rhythm, the truth about EMFs, the impact of modern pharmaceuticals, and how our environment—sunlight, sleep, movement, nourishment, and emotion—affects our health on every level.

Much of my passion stems from lived experience: my own health challenges, those of my family, and the realization that conventional care rarely speaks to the root cause. I’ve learned that true healing requires getting curious—not just about symptoms, but about the patterns, habits, and misalignments that create dis-ease in the first place. Through my small business, Valley to Rim Wellness, I offer herbal products, one-on-one consultations, and educational content rooted in this belief: we are nature, and when we return to its rhythm, healing becomes possible.

I draw deep inspiration from the land I call home—growing up and later living along the highway that connects the Phoenix Valley to the Mogollon Rim. The dramatic shifts in terrain between the desert floor and the mountain forest captivated me and mirrored my own evolution. That stretch of earth is where I first started identifying plants, falling in love with the Sonoran Desert, and stuffing field guides in my backpack like old friends.

Today, I continue to share what I’m learning—herbal recipes, wildcraft findings, nourishing meals, trusted products, and the simple rhythms that bring us back into balance. Whether you’re looking for a natural remedy, a lifestyle shift, or just a little reminder that you’re not alone on this path, I’m here to walk it with you—from valley to rim, and back again.

Brenna Membrila

Brenna Membrila is a family herbal practitioner, birth keeper, and sovereign mother devoted to tending women, children, and families through a whole-istic lens. Her work is deeply rooted in the Vitalist tradition of herbalism, which honors the innate intelligence of the body and the mirroring wisdom of the plants. She believes in meeting the whole human—mind, body, and spirit—while working in partnership with the whole plant to support long-term vitality and resilience.

Alongside her professional training, Brenna carries the lived experience of healing from lifelong autoimmune diagnoses and symptoms. After being told by doctors that her body would always be limited, she has found freedom in releasing labels and reclaiming trust in the body’s natural design. Through ancestral nourishment, herbal protocols, and deep inner listening, she has healed many ailments she carried since childhood—especially around thyroid, adrenals, hormones, leaky gut and autoimmunity. This journey informs her work and allows her to walk with others from a place of embodied wisdom, radical trust, and possibility.

Over the past five+ years, Brenna has cultivated a practice centered in deep listening, ancestral knowledge, and sovereignty in health. Her approach draws from hands-on experience in apothecaries, one-on-one consultations, community classes, and birth work. She has walked alongside many women through birth, loss, rebirth, chronic illness, and postpartum transformation—always holding reverence for the body’s design and the stories it carries.

Brenna’s work is a weaving of physiology, intuitive wisdom, plant energetics, and ancestral nourishment. She believes wellness begins with remembering: remembering how to tend the self, our children, and our homes with simplicity, reverence, and inner authority. She encourages families to reclaim their health and instincts—rather than outsource them to systems that often separate us from our knowing.

As a birth keeper, Brenna walks outside the system with integrity, authenticity, and care. She offers her presence as a sacred witness and grounded guide, holding space for the raw, real, and holy thresholds of birth. Her work centers around trust, tradition, sovereignty, and deep listening.

Brenna’s offerings include—but are not limited to—herbal consultations and follow-ups, nutritional guidance, medical astrology readings, birth trauma debriefs, birth support, herbal crafting, private classes, and community-centered events. She holds each session as sacred and an invitation to come home to the body, the earth, and the wild intelligence within.
